How will you celebrate Roald Dahl Day at your school? Make sure you don’t miss the official Roald Dahl Day Show! In just thirty minutes your pupils will learn all about Roald Dahl’s writing secrets so they can start their own stories.
What to expect on show day:
1.30pm A countdown will begin playing – this will give you a chance to check your connection is working but is not part of the main show.
2.00pm The show begins – gather your pupils around a screen in a classroom, school hall or library. You will need an account for each classroom.
Throughout the show you can see your school shout-outs on screen by tweeting @PuffinBooks using #RoaldDahlShow
Have pencils and paper ready for Quentin Blake’s drawing challenge – he has sent a series of photographs for pupils to follow and instructions which will be read out by the presenter, Ed Petrie.
2.30pm The show ends (but you can watch it again On-Demand afterwards)
Don’t forget to enter the Bug Buddy competition in the Party Pack – the entry deadline is Friday 19 October!
